Asad & Prosper Media Poised to Reign Over the Digital Marketing Industry

Today we’d like to introduce you to Asad Ali.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

I became the youngest General Manager at Crunch Fitness at the age of 25, things were going great and then BAM, Pandemic started and the gym was shutdown for 3/4 of a year. I had student loans and business loans to pay off so I needed more than employment insurance as income. I decided to learn a skill and start my own business, essentially keeping myself employed. That skill was digital marketing, SEO and all that encompasses that realm. I found a highly sought after mentor, paid him a college tuition essentially and learned from the very best in the business. Fast forward to January 2021 I open my digital marketing agency Prosper Media, and by the middle of the year I had several businesses hire me on a monthly retainer. Things got tricky at that point because I became overwhelmed with all the work and I had to wear so many different hats. By the end of the year I had half as many clients as earlier in the year, I had to solve this issue. Thats when it hit me like a bag of bricks, if you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far, go together. God blessed me with great friends that do what I do and we teamed up and found other like minded individuals to help us in our vision. Today we have an entire team ready to handle local to international clients without a drop in quality.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

The biggest challenges was learning to wear all the hats in my business. When I had too many clients I could not get the work done properly or if I did get the work done other parts of my business would suffer like client communication and business development. Growth was stagnant with only one pair of hands. The proverb “many hands make light work” came to me and by building a solid team around me we are capable of scaling at an extraordinary rate.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

We specialize in digital marketing. Essentially we help businesses and websites rank at the top of google. We started off with ranking local businesses on google and once we saw success we started working with national level companies as well. What makes us different is our no b.s. demeanour without discrediting the customer service. What that means is we give it to you straight, we are always honest with you and I personally tell my clients to google anything I tell them, I’ll never lie to them about what’s happening or why we need to do something a certain way. Integrity is everything at Prosper Media and that starts with me all the way down to our newest member Johan.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

If you want to find success, then first you must do some soul searching. Success is subjective. Find out what you really want out of your life, deep down, think about it. It should resonate with you, out of all the things you could possibly want, this one thing trumps it all. Ideally this is a version of you 10-30 years down the road living the life you envision for yourself. Once you know where you want to be, make a plan and execute on it. Don’t waste a single day because tomorrow is never promised to anyone, and some opportunities come once in a lifetime.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Financial freedom. Hands down. For me because it means I can look after my family. My parents did not have the easiest life transitioning from Pakistan to Canada in 1998. They wore themselves out just to give us a good life and an easier start to adulthood than them. Because of their sacrifices I vowed to complete my University degree for my mother, otherwise I would have dropped out after the first couple years at the latest. I want my parents to live a comfortable life where they don’t have any financial qualms in their minds ever again.

What’s next for you?

Prosper Media is at an amazing turning point. We are at a huge turning point because we just generated a ton of clients and we have the right people in place to ensure everything is done correctly and timely ensuring our new clients success. What that means is we have the ability to focus on business development like never before and have the chance to leap ahead of many longer established digital marketing agencies because of our fresh new perspective in the industry. We already managed to sign clients from much larger companies than us, unsolicited, because what we offer is totally different than your every day run-of-the-mill digital marketing giants where each client is just a number to them.
