A Smarter Alternative to Traditional Consulting
Manufacturing executives are under constant pressure to improve performance, reduce costs and strengthen safety while limiting reliance on expensive outside consultants. Eruditio is addressing this challenge with the launch of iBL Plus, a project based blended learning curriculum designed to deliver measurable financial returns while building internal capability.
Founded by Shon Isenhour, Eruditio developed iBL Plus as an evolution of the highly successful iBL curricula already used by leading organizations such as Mercedes, Gallo Wines, Lockheed Martin, Weyerhaeuser and Amazon. The new program builds on that proven foundation while expanding its scope and impact.
Proven Curriculum With Real Results
iBL Plus is built on curriculum developed in collaboration with the University of Tennessee and refined through years of real world application. Participants earn a professional certification while applying what they learn directly to improvement projects inside their own facilities.
What differentiates iBL Plus is its focus on documented outcomes. The average student sees more than a ten times return on investment in the first year of implementing their blended learning project. For organizations, the total cost of the program is typically less than two weeks of traditional consulting, yet the benefits extend well beyond the initial engagement.
Facilities using the curriculum have reported higher production output, lower manufacturing costs and improved safety and environmental performance. These results help reposition learning as a strategic investment rather than an overhead expense.
Learning While Solving Operational Challenges
Unlike classroom only programs, iBL Plus integrates education with active improvement initiatives. Reliability engineers, maintenance managers, supervisors, planners and operations leaders work on real challenges tied to reliability, cost and performance.
The blended structure combines formal instruction, peer collaboration and coaching to ensure concepts are translated into daily practice. This approach helps organizations embed new processes and sustain improvements long after the program concludes.
Building Sustainable Capability From Within
As experienced professionals retire, many manufacturers face a growing skills gap. iBL Plus addresses this challenge by developing internal consultants who understand both the technical and cultural realities of their organizations.
According to Shon Isenhour, “iBL Plus can be a game changer for underperforming facilities by increasing throughput, lowering cost of manufacturing and improving safety and environmental performance. It empowers leaders to improve organizational reliability with their own staff, making success more sustainable and boosting morale.”
Program Launch and Timeline
Eruditio will launch its first iBL Plus cohort next month, with kickoffs occurring bi monthly.
