Yolanda K. Churchwell: Empowering Women CEOs through Systematic Solutions

In a business landscape that is constantly evolving, having a strong foundation and efficient systems in place can make all the difference between thriving and merely surviving. Yolanda K. Churchwell, CEO and The System Solutionist™ of The Business Assistance Group (The BAG), has dedicated her career to helping female coaches and consultants streamline their operations and scale their businesses to new heights.

A Journey Fueled by Experience and Expertise

Yolanda’s career spans nearly 25 years, including a notable tenure with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), where she honed her skills in operations, implementations, and management. Her extensive background includes roles such as Revenue Agent, Training and Education Project Manager, and Lead Program and Management Analyst. Additionally, she boasts a diverse entrepreneurial portfolio, having owned and operated Koordinated by Katie, an event planning business, and The Harris Look, a retail store specializing in casual and dress clothing.

Her educational credentials are equally impressive, with a Bachelor of Science in Business (Accounting) with a minor in Computer Science and an MBA with a specialization in Management Information Systems. Yolanda is also a Licensed Certified Public Accountant and a Certified DISC Profile Analyst.

From Retail Success to Business Solutions

The inception of The Business Assistance Group was born out of Yolanda’s personal experiences as an entrepreneur. Running a successful retail store, she quickly realized that the operational demands and lack of backend support were hindering her growth. This pivotal moment led her to identify the crucial need for systematic solutions in business operations.

“I needed a girdle for my business,” Yolanda recalls. “My problem wasn’t a lack of revenue; it was a lack of time and support. I needed procedures in place that ensured everyone received the same level of quality.”

This realization transformed her approach, leading her to establish The BAG. Yolanda’s mission became clear: to help women entrepreneurs create strong foundations that support their business growth from the inside out.

Overcoming Challenges with Systematic Solutions

Balancing a burgeoning business with a demanding 9 to 5 career was no small feat for Yolanda. However, her ability to create and implement processes allowed her to manage both effectively. As of August 9, 2024, she will retire from her 20-year federal government career to focus solely on her entrepreneurial journey.

Yolanda’s unique approach sets her apart in the industry. The BAG specializes in providing done-for-you strategies, standard operating procedures, and systems implementation that streamline day-to-day operations, maximize profits, and free women CEOs to scale and succeed.

A Vision for the Future

Looking ahead, Yolanda envisions a future where The BAG becomes a multi-million dollar conglomerate, offering national business assistance centers and programs that help individuals start, grow, and scale their businesses. Her goal is to help at least 100 coaches and consultants go from failing to scaling every twelve months.

“I want to change the statistic that 8 out of 10 businesses fail,” Yolanda states. “I want to be a living example of what all my clients can achieve.”
