Today we’d like to introduce you to Elisha Foulks.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

My name is Elisha Foulks, and I am Pro MUA- turned soap maker. I have been a makeup artist for 10 years and have worked on some amazing projects including numerous music videos with director Mark Lee, (aka The Wizard), Tyler Perry’s “The Oval”, and Season 2 of “Delicious Miss Brown” on Food Network. I have always loved helping women look and feel beautiful.

In 2016, I launched my cosmetic line BKBeauty Cosmetics and started with lipsticks, glosses, and eyeshadow palettes. In November 2020, I expanded to handmade skincare products after trying to help a friend who struggled with psoriasis. On January 1, 2021, I launched a handmade yoni soap which coined the name Coochie Cakes™️ which has become my number 1 product!

It was formulated by me to assist women who struggle with common issues of BV, yeast infections, and even menstrual cramps by implementing herbs. I have built an entire line of feminine care products around this amazing product and will be adding more to the line up very soon!

Because of the success of my line, I no longer have to service clients.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

Wheew! Do we have enough characters for this? I am STILL overcoming challenges. Finding a product that people actually NEED was a huge victory for me. Providing makeup services over the years became a challenge not only physically, but mentally as well. Makeup is a luxury-based service that women can generally go without. However, feminine hygiene is a MUST. My current challenge is production to keep up with the demand.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

I specialize in helping to heal and restore women from the inside out. I have received numerous testimonials from women who have said how my products have helped them overcome common issues with feminine hygiene, and even their sex life! My products WORK.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

My best advice to those who are reading this today is to find something you LOVE to do and use it to help others. The money will come. You will find yourself fulfilled and paid! You can’t lose! Let everything you do, be done in love.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Success to me is simply being better than I was yesterday. I am able to look back at my business last year and see that I have grown exponentially. That’s success. I am a teen mom who beat the odds. That’s MY success.

I have an ebook releasing on Black Friday called “Are You Branding Or Bullsh!tt!ng?™️“ which will cover how to create and market your brand successfully. I will also be offering classes beginning next year.
