Phone Video Disputes Israel’s Account in Gaza Shooting of 15 Palestinian Medics

Video footage from a mobile phone captured one of the fifteen Palestinian medics killed by Israeli forces last month and challenges claims by Israeli officials that no emergency lights were active on the vehicles during the shooting in southern Gaza. The recorded scenes show teams from the Red Crescent and Civil Defense responding calmly while their vehicles displayed flashing emergency lights and clear logos as they approached an ambulance that was already under fire. The medics, who left their vehicles calmly, proceeded immediately toward the ambulance without any aggressive behavior. Seconds later, the vehicles were met with a continuous barrage of gunfire that lasted over five minutes with intermittent pauses, intensifying an already volatile situation in the conflict zone.
