Laurel Wilson Launches Program to Support Women Through Perimenopause

Published:

Perimenopause remains one of the most misunderstood and overlooked phases in women’s health, leaving millions of women navigating exhaustion, anxiety, hormonal shifts, and confusion without clear guidance or support. Laurel Wilson, TEDx speaker, women’s health educator, and certified menopause practitioner, is addressing this growing gap through the launch of Thrive During the Transition, a 12 week program designed to help women better understand and navigate perimenopause and menopause.

The program combines evidence-based hormone education, holistic wellness strategies, and practical support aimed at helping women regain energy, confidence, and a stronger connection with their bodies during midlife.

Meeting a Critical Need in Women’s Health

The launch arrives at a time when menopause care is becoming an increasingly urgent public health issue. Research continues to highlight widespread gaps in provider education and access to menopause support, while many women report feeling dismissed or misunderstood during conversations about hormonal health .

According to Laurel, many women spend years experiencing symptoms before realizing they are connected to perimenopause or menopause. This confusion often affects not only physical health, but also emotional well being, relationships, workplace performance, and overall quality of life.

“Menopause is not the beginning of the end. It is the beginning of a new chapter that can be just as vibrant, powerful, sensual, joyful, and fulfilling as the decades before it,” Laurel explains .

Her goal through Thrive During the Transition is to help women move away from fear and misinformation while developing a deeper understanding of what is happening physiologically and emotionally during this stage of life.

A Career Focused on Women’s Education

Laurel brings more than twenty five years of experience in women’s health education to the program. As a TEDx speaker and international educator, she has trained healthcare professionals, lactation consultants, nurses, midwives, and families around the world .

Throughout her career, she has focused on bridging the gap between medical knowledge and accessible education for women. Her work emphasizes evidence based information while integrating holistic wellness practices that support long term resilience and vitality.

This philosophy became the foundation for Thrive During the Transition, which was created in response to increasing demand from women seeking practical and compassionate guidance through perimenopause and menopause.

Reframing Midlife Wellness

The program encourages women to view midlife not as a decline, but as a transformative period of growth and self awareness. Through educational resources, wellness strategies, and community support, Laurel aims to help participants feel informed, empowered, and connected to their bodies again.

As conversations around women’s health continue to evolve, programs like Thrive During the Transition reflect a growing movement toward more comprehensive and supportive menopause care.

The next 12 week cohort for the program begins June 29, 2026 .
