This initiative done in partnership with Fortis mobile money, and the National Cash Transfer office in Abuja helped onboard over 400,000 people, providing them with access to vital financial services. These services have made a big difference, giving many people the chance to improve their financial situations and their lives.

“I’ve always felt that true innovation means more than just making new products—it’s about solving real issues and making a lasting impact,” Joshua reflects. This approach is what sets his work apart, as he focuses on creating solutions that help people long-term and empower them to take control of their finances.

Joshua’s background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Calabar and a Master’s degree in International Finance from Edinburgh Napier University. His time as an Operations Specialist at Fortis Mobile Money Ltd in Abuja was crucial in expanding financial services to areas that lacked them. His technical knowledge, combined with his commitment to helping people, is what drives him to create meaningful financial solutions.

“My goal is to build fintech solutions that aren’t just new, but truly make a difference for the communities they help,” Joshua shares.
