In an industry often defined by fleeting trends and commercial metrics, Willy Shares stands out as a visionary carving a legacy rooted not in self-promotion but in substance. As the creator of Love Unity Initiative, a mission-driven project bridging music and ecological awareness, Shares’ journey is anything but conventional — and that’s exactly what makes it remarkable.
A Legacy in the Making
Shares’ entrepreneurial flame ignited early. At just 13 years old, the homeschooled teen found himself at a collegiate-level workshop on photography and creative business. What began as an educational experiment quickly turned into a vocation. By 14, his work was featured in a national magazine, and he was collaborating with musicians and artists across New York and North Carolina.
At 15, Shares made a bold pivot: transitioning from creative collaborator to artist manager.
“I immersed myself in the opportunity to learn and grow further through the twists and turns of the music business,” he reflects.
This immersive, learn-by-doing approach became the hallmark of his career.
Scaling New Heights
By 18, Shares had relocated to Los Angeles — the epicenter of pop culture — and by 21, he was a partner in a social media creator collective that reached over 500 million combined followers.
Then came Silicon Valley. At 23, Shares joined a startup as Head of Creative, where he helped develop AI-driven engines for Universal Music Group’s global direct-to-consumer initiatives.
His impact? Monumental. He helped market a Billboard #1 record that dominated charts worldwide for seven consecutive weeks, and played a role in campaigns for legends and icons such as Bob Dylan, Kendrick Lamar, Red Hot Chili Peppers, KISS, DaBaby, Eminem, and many more.
But success wasn’t just about numbers. It was about finding meaning.
From Commerce to Culture Shift
Now 29, Shares has turned his gaze toward the people and the planet. With Love Unity Initiative, he’s channeling decades of high-level industry experience into ecological advocacy.
“I’m continuing my mark on culture outside of the commercial realm by advocating ecological awareness in the music industry and throughout communities,” he says.
His current focus? Designing and implementing ecological programs for music festivals, aimed at improving attendee experience while fostering deeper trust between artists, organizers, and audiences.
He’s also spearheading an upcycled art activation — part statement, part solution — aimed at creatively repurposing waste materials into cultural artifacts.
The Internal Evolution
Behind the resume is a philosophy rooted in introspection and authenticity. Shares speaks candidly about his greatest obstacle:
“Navigating perceived limitations. Age in my early years, and more broadly, cultural expectations.”
His response?
“Writing my own story… trusting the journey… embracing divine helpers along the way.”
His advice to budding entrepreneurs is refreshingly simple:
“Choose yourself first so you can help the people you want to.”
And when it comes to avoiding burnout, he emphasizes attunement over hustle:
“I listen to my body. I rest when I’m ready to rest and work when I’m inspired in the work.”
Looking Ahead
Shares is just getting started. With aspirations to speak in front of 10 million people and a commitment to bridging ecological innovation with community impact, his next chapter promises to be as meaningful as it is ambitious.
“I’ve been fortunate to meet, work with, and learn from industry leaders, billionaires, and some of the most inspiring and creative people on earth,” he says. “Now, I want to use that insight to elevate our collective quality of life.”
If past is prologue, Willy Shares isn’t just rewriting his story — he’s helping shape the cultural and ecological script of an entire generation.
