There was a pivotal moment early in Dr. Bryant’s career that still drives her to this day. She sat in a room full of decision-makers who were creating policies that impacted people like her—yet no one at the table represented her voice.
“I had the insight. I had the answers. But I didn’t have the title,” she recalls. “At that moment, I promised myself: If I ever got the opportunity to lead, I’d make space for others to be seen, heard, and valued.”
Over the next three decades, she kept that promise. She rose through the ranks to become Executive Director in the federal government and later served as Chief of Staff at Capital One, a Fortune 100 company. There, she led national initiatives in diversity, equity, and engagement, overseeing a Business Resource Group of more than 24,000 members.
But no title could ever replace her purpose: creating a path for others to rise.
