Legacy isn’t just something Dr. Linda R. Jordon talks about—it’s what she builds every single day. As the Founder of LRJ Consulting and a nationally recognized influencer, she brings over 30 years of experience in corporate leadership, operations, and coaching to women ready to redefine their next chapter. With a mission grounded in faith and purpose, Dr. Jordon is proving that it’s never too late to lead, invest, and leave a lasting impact.
Her journey from boardroom executive to transformational mentor started with frustration. After hitting glass ceilings and dealing with lackluster leadership in corporate America, she chose to become the kind of leader she wished she had. Fueled by a desire to create financial legacy and inspired by her role as a mother, Dr. Jordon stepped into entrepreneurship—starting with real estate investing and evolving into executive coaching and community leadership.
Success didn’t come without setbacks. Diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2014, Dr. Jordon made the courageous decision to retire early and pursue her business full-time. That life-altering moment sparked a new mission—to help women overcome self-doubt and fear, and to lead with both courage and confidence.
“I had to do it afraid,” she shares. “There were no more excuses. I chose faith over fear.”
Her results speak volumes. Dr. Jordon is a certified John Maxwell Coach, a DISC facilitator, and a credentialed expert in diversity and organizational leadership. She holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Development & Leadership and serves as a bridge between corporate excellence and community empowerment. Her best-selling book, Unleash Your Inner CEO, equips women over 50 with the tools to lead, launch businesses, and invest for long-term wealth.
In 2023, Dr. Jordon made history as the first Black and first Black female Mayor of Butner, North Carolina. Her honors include the 2025 Citizen of the Year Award from Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, recertification as a SHRM provider, and recognition in the 2024 Top 100 Businesses list by Business Black Ink. She was also awarded the 2024 Community Service Award by Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Her real estate journey spans over 20 years, focusing on refurbishing single-family homes and turning them into income-generating assets. Beyond the cash flow, her motivation is legacy—teaching women to build generational wealth and live free from financial fear.
Through her nonprofit, Breast Cancer Angel Network, Inc., Dr. Jordon aims to support 100,000 women fighting or surviving breast cancer. She also envisions a future where she travels the world as a speaker, sharing her testimony and transforming lives.
“Your past doesn’t define your potential,” Dr. Jordon says. “Leadership is about stepping up, no matter your age, background, or setbacks. You’ve got everything you need—you just have to believe in yourself enough to start.”
