For years, Deidra Jackson moved through two demanding worlds at once. In one, she was a healthcare executive making high stakes decisions inside complex systems. Jackson knows the terrain firsthand. Before stepping into thought leadership full time, she spent 25 years in healthcare leadership roles driving system design and transformation while also managing the realities of caregiving behind the scenes. That lived experience now shapes the philosophy behind Her Many Lives and its signature framework, The ManyLives Method, a six stage model designed to help women navigate identity loss, reinvention, and recovery.
The timing is difficult to ignore. According to data referenced by the organization, 63 million Americans currently serve as family caregivers, with women making up the overwhelming majority. Workforce attrition linked to caregiving pressures continues to climb, particularly among midlife women balancing careers with aging parents and family responsibilities.
Jackson argues the issue extends beyond exhaustion. In many cases, women lose visibility within their own lives.
“She does not call herself a caregiver,” Jackson says in the press materials. “She calls herself a mother, daughter, sister doing what needs to be done.”
That observation has become central to her work. Her Many Lives positions itself less as a traditional self help platform and more as a space where ambition, caregiving realities, and personal identity are allowed to coexist without apology. The company’s broader thesis, which Jackson calls “Audacious Life Integration,” pushes back against the pressure to simplify women into a single role or narrative.
The credibility behind the launch is reinforced by Jackson’s growing national profile. She was recently named a 2026 Influential Woman. Additionally, she was accepted as a 2026 Fellow of the Elizabeth Dole Foundation, one of the country’s most respected recognitions in military and veteran caregiver advocacy. Her memoir, Holding Space, has also gained traction among readers navigating similar experiences.
