The award-winning Wedding and Event Planner Yhon Peña shines with its own light

The Venezuelan Yhondarwys Peña, better known in the world of event organization as Yhon Peña, is a benchmark when it comes to professionalism and excellence. He is a lawyer and educator, but his dream and passion was always focused on being the best Wedding and Event Planner in his native country and in the world. His current experience and all the work done over the years has shown that he did manage to achieve his goals.

While studying to be a lawyer, he began his specialization in the area of ​​Ceremonial Etiquette and Protocol, being the first step to becoming a renowned Wedding and Event Planner. He stood out for his performance for six years in the different inter-institutional events in which he participated and his contribution to the Protocol team led him to be part of the organizing committee of the degree events of the university where he was studying (Universidad Dr. Rafael Belloso Chacín (URBE) in the city of Maracaibo).

After being a student and graduating, he began his work as a teacher at the same university from which he graduated, teaching different subjects in the areas of Law and Social Communication focused on the Organization of Events, Customer Service, Protocol and Ceremonial; He managed to be part of different investigation committees as a jury. He never stopped expanding his knowledge and experience in the field of event planning and soon he was creating his company “Go! Protocolo”, which in a short time became a recognized company in the sector, providing high-quality services. quality and creating memorable experiences for its customers. Thanks to his dedication and passion for his work, Peña has become a benchmark in the events industry in several Latin American countries.

Yhon was certified as a Wedding and Event Planner in the city of Caracas, with the Ibero-American Event Planner Institute (INIBEP) and the endorsement of the Euro-American Event Planner Union. His focus on excellence and attention to detail has led “Go! Protocolo” to collaborate with renowned brands and celebrities in organizing their exclusive events. In addition, he has been invited to participate as a speaker at important conferences and seminars, sharing his experience and knowledge with other professionals in the sector.

In 2015 he completed his Master’s degree in Business Management, strengthening his profile now as a manager, teacher and Wedding Planner in his native country with international projection. His approach is credited as a knowledge facilitator and expert in Ceremonial Etiquette and Protocol by being certified as an “International Speaker” in 2016, then he began a cycle of conferences, presentations, talks and training aimed at public sector Protocol teams, among which were: Governments, Mayor’s Offices and private entities at the national level, as well as other Wedding and Event Planners and interested companies in order to highlight the good service. All of this led him to specialize in “Banquet Etiquette”, taking different courses and training to become an expert on the subject and be one of the most sought after.

In 2017 he made a trip of exploration, training and search for new trends in weddings and social events in the Arab Emirates, being the only Venezuelan Wedding Planner present at “Bride Dubai 2017”, an activity that brings together hundreds of professionals who meet with the highest standards in the events industry.

After his experience in the Arab Emirates, he began touring Venezuela, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic, which is why he began to receive important recognition for his work, one of which was being chosen to organize the wedding of professional baseball player Salvador Pérez and his couple Gabriela Ruiz in the United States, beginning the registration of “Go! Protocolo” as an American company in 2018, and thus promoting its actions in North America. In 2019 he received the award as “Event Organizer and Teacher of the Year” with a Gold mention and then in 2023 as “Organizer of Weddings and Events with International Projection”, both from the “Tacarigua de Oro Internacional” Cultural Foundation.

During 2024, you have been interested in joining different associations or guilds in the event and wedding industry, such as the Association of Bridal Consultant and the Miami-Dade and Broward Chapter of the National Association of Wedding Professionals ( NAWP), incorporating into different activities since its projection.
