Exclusive Interview With Té Nelson
Today we’d like to introduce you to Té Nelson.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
My name is Donté Nelson. I am an Ex-Military College Dropout Turned Entrepreneur. I’ve built a multi 6-Figure Marketing Agency specializing in Lead Generation for Car Dealerships. Within 6 Months, I was able to grow my income from $7,500 to over $50,000+ per month in less than 18 months. I grew up in Anchorage, Alaska. I am the second oldest out of 5 children. Growing up, I always wanted to be an NBA player but around the age of 15, I realized that my height was going to get in the way. I had people left and right telling me that I was too short and honestly, I let it get to my head. I was playing JV/varsity as a freshman, and I ended up quitting the basketball team because of my insecurities about my height. Every looked at me as a failure since I let all the trash talk get to my head. Since quitting the basketball team led me on a path of self-destruction. I ended up hanging with the wrong crowd and started skipping school every single day until eventually I dropped out of high school entirely before the end of junior year. I never told my parents until they found out during graduation a year later. I ended up joining the U.S. Army and that’s where I learned how to become an entrepreneur. I started my first business in 2016 and grew it to 6-Figures by the end of 2018. Haven’t looked back since.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
My success did not come easy. I struggled being from alaska and knowing absolutely nothing about business and money since my parents struggled their entire lives. Success did not come my way until I found a mentor who would help me along my journeys. I believe a mentor is very necessary for success because they can make sure that you’re not focusing on the wrong things and hold you accountable for your actions, and progress. My life and income skyrocketed after finding a mentor willing to help me every step of the way. Another challenge I had to overcome was the fear of money. I realized my whole life my parents told me to save save save and this ultimately led me to be afraid of spending money. but, the reality is. Scared money don’t make no money. If you find yourself afraid to spend money then you have to realize that it’s not the fact that your afraid of spending money. It’s that you aren’t making enough of it. So, once I climbed out of this rabbit hole, I was able to increase my income by making the right investments. I invested in my self and invested in acquiring high-income skills like Digital Marketing, Copywriting, Funnel Designing, and Sales.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
I am a Digital Marketer, A Business Consultant & Entrepreneur. On the Digital Marketing side, I build and manage Marketing Campaigns on Facebook, Youtube, & Google. Because of my skillset in Digital Marketing and Social Media Marketing, I started and built a successful 6-Figure Marketing Agency working with Car Dealerships. I help them generate dozens of customers every single month, consistently by using Facebook & Youtube’s Advertising platform. So yes, I am responsible for those annoying ads you see on Youtube & Facebook. On the Business Consulting side, I help other Marketing Agencies (Beginners & Advanced) reshape their agency offers so that they can produce more income and hire employees to grow their business. I also, help Business Owners, train their staff to run their own in-house marketing agencies. On the Entrepreneur side, I help Instagram and TikTok models monetize their accounts and following. I am a Digital Marketing expert and I help models and entrepreneurs create income from their hard work on social media.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
The best advice I have for anyone reading this article is to find out what you love to do and put that on the shelf. Most of the time, doing what you love will keep your broke. So, my advice is, do what makes the most money and then use the money to buy your time back so you don’t have to spend it at work building someone else’s dream. once, you have successfully bought your time back, then you can use your time to do what you love without worrying about if it generates income or not because you would have already built a steady income chasing your high-income skill. I’ve seen complete beginners go from $0 to $75,000+ per month in less than a year. I know this isn’t typically but its possible and highly likely if you find the right mentor. There are mentors everywhere online. People are selling courses and mentorship on the back-end. Find a high-income skill and then find a mentor who will help you build your business from scratch and this will allow you to buy your time back. I no longer make decisions based on money. I can finally do what I love and I love helping people fire their bossess and become full-time entrepreneurs.
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
What success means to me is exactly this. Success is acheiving ones goals but, there’s many levels of success. I view success as accomplishing my goals. In addition to that, I have different categories of success to include financial success. So reaching my financial goals is a version of success for me. I have goals in every category on my life, including with my family. I have goals for my children which, their success is a reflection of my ability to be a father and guide my children down the right path. So, success might have a simple definition but it’s up to you to decide how far and deep you want your success to do. Somepeople define success as waking up alive. I consider myself the 1% of the world so I decided to enhance my meaning of success and take it to a new level.
